Baptism

What is Baptism?

Matthew 28:19–20 says when people who know and follow Jesus are baptized, they fulfill the command of Jesus and are submerged in water to identify with the death of Jesus and rise out of the water to identify with his resurrection (Romans 6:1-10).

This identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through baptism testifies to the fact that we believe in faith that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, rose three days later, and now is alive and Lord over all of creation.

Who Should Be Baptized?

If you’ve placed your faith and trust in Jesus, we encourage you to follow Jesus’ command to be baptized as a public declaration of your faith in Him. We believe a person should be able to fully understand their commitment to Christ through baptism, therefore we do not baptize babies. We do have a baby dedication program for interested parents. You can email for more details.
